This is an awesome festival, but really requires an extra day for those of us in the Toronto area to enjoy. These are not published dates yet, but the festival has been on the same weekend for years, so I've very confident in them.
The cost is usually about $65 including three meals (two breakfasts and a dinner).
A festival dedicated to the preservation of rivers.
The Festival was first created to promote the Gatineau as a whitewater destination and to demonstrate to the local citizenry and all levels of government the vast recreational and tourism potential of this magnificent river. The Festival has always aimed at making people and governments aware of the importance of protecting our rivers.
Join the Festival and help us preserve the Gatineau along with other Quebec rivers in their natural state. All Festival proceeds go to the Quebec River Preservation Fund of the “Fédération québécoise du canot et du kayak.”
